Pět krát až na vrchol
Destinaci dovolené u moře vybírám s jedinou podmínkou – aquaparkem. Moji dva kluci se totiž po prvním dni u moře začínají nudit a mě tím prudit k nepříčetnosti. Preventivně proto kupuji rovnou dva dny v aquaparku, abychom střídali pobyt u moře se zabavím parkem. Letošní volba po předchozí zkušenosti padla na Lido di Jesolo s jedním z nejvyšších tobogánů na světě (42 metrů vysoký). Po prvním dni stráveném na pláži s třemi úplatkovými zmrzlinami proti kecům mých synů se těším do parku, kde mám jistotu, že se kluci zabaví.
Díky “perfektní” předpovědi na iPhone vidím pár mráčků, ale od půl jedenácté jasno a dvacet čtyři stupňů. Na Itálii v létě sice žádné vedro, ale na sluníčku bude dobře. Přece bych nešel za deště a mrazu jezdit na tobogány. Naštěstí pro nás, jak se později ukázalo, ostatní lidé koukají i na jiné předpovědi. Meteoradar jim ukázal bouřku, která se přihnala v jedenáct hodin. Na patnáct minut vyřadila park z provozu, „ohřála“ vzduch na krásných osmnáct stupňů a mě donutila sentimentálně se slzou v oku přečíst pár článků o nesnesitelných vedrech, která nás budou sužovat celé léto.
Vedlejším efektem počasí se stalo snížení počtu návštěvníků z průměrných několika tisíc na pouhé dvě stovky. Před námi se otevřely neočekáváné možnosti. Atrakce, kam se za celý den normálně dostanete dva krát, sjíždíme za první hodinu patnáctkrát. Bez běhání po schodech by to samozřejmě nešlo. Cítíme neuvěřitelnou příležitost, jak z našeho vstupného vytřískat maximum. Připadám si jako správný Čech, když je něco zadarmo. Ani nás nenapadne, že bychom se na chvíli zastavili, najedli, trochu relaxovali. Maximálně si bereme jídlo do ruky a hurá po schodech na další jízdu – ideálně klusem. Na konci dne mě chytají křeče do nohou. Kolik schodů a pater jsme vlastně vyběhli? Hbitě, cestou po točitých schodech s člunem na zádech, počítám, kolik pater vystoupáme na 42 metrů vysoký tobogán – tyhle jízdy mám spočítané přesně. Kolik pater vybíháme na klouzačku, kolik na divokou řeku? S překvapením a hrůzou zároveň se dopočítávám téměř tisíce pater. Hlavou mi bleskne: „Zhruba pět krát na vrchol nejvyššího mrakodrapu světa.“ Hustý. Kdyby mi někdo řekl: „Vyjdi po schodech až nahoru”, tak si budu klepat na čelo. Popravdě si to nedovedu ani představit. Přitom stačí jedna hozená rukavice v podobě parku bez lidí znamenající limit množství sjetých tobogánů jen vlastními fyzickými silami. Ukázalo se, že mnoho malých krůčků bez vidiny strašáka obrovského nesplnitelného cíle, dokáže přinést neuvěřitelný výsledek, aniž bychom k němu od začátku vědomě mířili.
